Appearance
General Description: Kilvaran’s have almond shaped heads and eyes. Their noses aren’t very prominent; two nostril slits serve instead. Those are located where a nose should be. Their ears are frilled. The bodies are hairless and they have a long frilled crest running from the center of their forehead down to the middle of their back. It’s very long at the top and shorter at the bottom. They have a long prehensile tail. There is a long frill running under their arms from the wrist to just beneath the shoulder. Their legs are reptilian with three talons at the end.
They have a tough underbelly. In color, it’s a variation on the body color

Biology
Life span: They live for approximately 70 years.
Reproductive method: Kilvarrans are egg layers and will only lay one egg at a time.
Reproductive cycle: Kilvarrans are capable of Parthenogenesis (an asexual form of reproduction found in females where growth and development of embryos occurs without fertilization by a male). The offspring of such a method are always male as Kilvarran DNA is ZW rather than XY (like mammals). This method is rare, however, as they prefer to reproduce sexually. They can mate to produce offspring whenever they wish, though the summer months are their preferred time.
Development: Once the egg hatches, the infant is blind. Its eyes won’t open for two weeks. It had to rely on its sense of smell to identify its mother. The mother will stay with the newborn constantly until it is three months old at which point it can be given into the care of another, though this is rare.
