Shadowpaw

            Location: Starfinger Mountain
            Personality: Shadowpaw is a very energetic animal, generally not offering any information unless asked. She loves riddles and speaks in rhyme when it suits her. She enjoys teasing Spiritfire, but keeps an eye out for Swiftfoot.

Swiftfoot
            Type: Wolf
            Human companion: Iranim
            Location: Three Peak Forest
            Swiftfoot is a fairly docile animal as far as wolves go, enjoying little more than to lie at Iranim’s feet and have his tummy and ears scratched. He has a strong dislike of Spiritfire, echoing the dislike of Iranim for Telial. He is constantly watching Shadowpaw to keep her out of mischief.

Pearlshine
            Type: Dragon
            Human Companion: Lioliel
            Location: Black Pearl Lake
            She is very small and doesn’t like bright light. She is generally cheerful and gets along with everyone. Despite being a primarily water dwelling creature, she can survive for long periods of time without it.

Spiritfire
            Type: Fox
            Human Companion: Telial
            Location: Shai Liu mountain range
            Spiritfire is the bossy one, bullying all of the others. He tends to think of himself as superior and especially likes to pick on Shadowpaw. He has no liking of Swiftfoot whatsoever.

Heartwind
            Type: Jyelyar
            Human Companion: Sariel
            Location: Chuktenn Plains
            Unlike the other spirit animals, Heartwind is an herbivore, not a carnivore, but is clearly the one in charge. He is the biggest, standing taller than the average horse with wickedly sharp horns on his head. He is fiercely territorial and is not particularly fond of Pearlshine.

About the Animal Spirits
            In order to restore the proper order to the land of Zafinn, the Lost Children need to find the animal spirits, the representatives of the Five down on Fayorinn. Their purpose is to guide their human companions and provide them with a link to their Patron. It’s only with the spirits that the Lost Children are able to connect with the stronger part of the magic necessary to defeat the Emperor and restore the Princess to her throne.
